Greetings from the APDSC Secretariat!
Vice-President Mr. Dennis Tan and Treasurer Mr. Lim Heng Tuck extend their sincere gratitude to the ASEAN Deaf Sports Federation (ADSF) and the Indonesian Sports Association of the Deaf (PORTURIN) for the kind invitation to join the informal discussion with representatives from seven ASEAN countries—Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste—on Friday, 22nd August 2025. During the meeting, we were pleased to share updates on the upcoming APDSC activities for the 2025–2028 term, including: Asia Pacific Deaf Championships 2026 APDSC Education & Training Seminar Asia Pacific Deaf Games 2028 – Kuala Lumpur We sincerely hope to welcome Brunei, Laos, and Timor-Leste as new participants in the Asia Pacific Deaf Championships next year. On 23rd and 24th August, we had the opportunity to attend various sporting events, including Athletics, Badminton, Bowling, Chess, Futsal, and Table Tennis. We engaged with many athletes and introduced them to the Asia Pacific Deaf Championships 2026. It was heartening to see their enthusiasm and eagerness to take part in future competitions. We are truly inspired by the energy, spirit, and determination displayed by all the athletes throughout the Games. On behalf of APDSC, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to both ADSF and PORTURIN on the successful organisation of the 2nd SEA Deaf Games 2025.
